The Preferences tab lets you set your time zone and choose whether to be notified if you log in from a different one. Here is how both work.
Setting your time zone

Figure 1: the Time Zone setting and mismatch toggle on the Preferences tab
1. Open your account menu, choose Settings, then the Preferences tab.
2. Under Time Zone, your current zone is shown. Select Change time zone to pick a different one.
3. To control login alerts, use the Notify about timezone mismatch on login toggle, switching it on or off as you prefer.
What the mismatch alert does
When the mismatch alert is on, Flush.io lets you know if you log in from a time zone that differs from the one saved on your account. It is a light security signal that can help you spot a sign-in you did not expect. You can turn it off at any time.
Good to know
Keeps times relevant to you. Setting your time zone means timestamps and activity show in your local time.
The alert is optional. The mismatch notification is a convenience and can be switched on or off freely.
Travelling? If you log in from a new location, a mismatch alert is normal; it simply reflects the different time zone.
