If you would rather gauge your balance in a familiar fiat amount, the balance menu has a Display in Fiat toggle. It shows an estimated fiat value for easy reference; your funds stay in crypto.
Turning on fiat display

Figure 1: the Display in Fiat toggle in the balance menu
1. In the header, select your balance to open the balance menu.
2. Find the Display in Fiat toggle, below the list of coins.
3. Switch it on. Your balance now shows an estimated fiat value. Switch it off at any time to return to a coin display.
Fiat values are an estimate
The fiat figure is a convenience estimate based on current exchange rates, which move constantly. Your balance is always held in crypto; the fiat amount is only a reference to help you gauge its value.
Good to know
Nothing is converted. Showing a fiat value does not turn your funds into fiat; it only changes how the amount is displayed.
The figure moves with the market. Because crypto values change, an estimated fiat amount will rise and fall even if your coin balance does not. Stablecoins stay close to their dollar value.
Toggle it off any time. You can return to displaying a specific coin whenever you prefer.
Want a steady dollar balance? If you would rather your balance stay steady in dollar terms, consider holding a stablecoin like USDC or USDT.
