Verifying Your Email Address

Confirming your email, and resending the link if you need to

When you register, Flush.io emails you a verification link. Opening that link confirms your email address. If you have not verified yet, the Verifications tab in Settings lets you resend the link, and once you are done it shows your email as verified.

How email verification works

Figure 1: the Verifications tab, showing the Email row and its Resend email button

1.  At registration. A verification link is sent to the email you signed up with. Open that email and select the link to verify your address.

2.  Check your status. Open your account menu, choose Settings, then the Verifications tab. If your email is not verified yet, the Email row shows a red Resend email button. Once verified, it shows a green Verified badge instead.

3.  Need the link again? If the email has not arrived, or the link has expired, select Resend email on this tab to send a fresh verification link to your address.

4.  Open the new link. Check your inbox (and your spam or junk folder), open the latest verification email, and select the link. Your status then updates to verified.

If the email still does not arrive

Verification links are sent to the exact address on your account. If Resend email does not get one through, check your spam or junk folder, confirm the email on your Account tab is correct, and give it a few minutes. Our support team can help if it still does not come.

Good to know

The Resend email button is only there until you verify. Once your email is confirmed, the button is replaced by a Verified badge, so there is nothing more to do.

Resend Limit. You can only resend an email after 60 seconds.

Verifying protects your account. A verified email means you can reliably receive security messages and recover access if you ever need to.

The status lives in Verifications. The Verifications tab shows both your email status and your personal information status in one place.

Email changes go through support. You cannot edit your email yourself; our separate guide explains how changes are handled.

Keep your inbox accessible. Make sure you can still receive mail at your account email so verification links and alerts reach you.
