Troubleshooting on Opera by clearing cache and cookies whilst on a Desktop device

If pages are loading incorrectly, you’re stuck on an old version of the site, or you’re having trouble logging in or claiming a bonus, clearing Opera’s cache and cookies usually fixes it. These steps cover Opera and Opera GX, the settings layout is the same, and are identical on Windows and Mac; only the keyboard shortcuts differ.
Before you start
Clearing cookies signs you out of every website in Opera, including your Flush.io account. Make sure you know your login details (and have access to your 2FA method) before you clear anything. Passwords saved in Opera are not affected, as long as you leave the passwords box unticked.
Clear cookies and cached files
1. Open Opera, then click the O menu button in the top-left corner. (On Mac, use Opera in the menu bar instead.)
2. Choose Settings from the menu (Alt+P on Windows, ⌘+, on Mac).

3. In the left sidebar, select Privacy & security.
4. Click Clear browsing data.

5. On the Advanced tab, set Time range to All time for a complete reset.
6. Tick Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files. Leave everything else, especially Passwords and other sign-in data, unticked.
7. Click Clear data. You’re finished, reload the page you were having trouble with.

Keyboard shortcut
Ctrl + Shift + Delete (Windows) or ⌘ + Shift + Delete (Mac) opens the same clear-data dialog directly from any page. You can also type opera://settings/clearBrowserData in the address bar.
After clearing
Close and reopen Opera, then go back to the site. You’ll need to sign in again, cookies store your login session, so being logged out everywhere is expected. If the original problem persists after clearing, try a private window to rule out extensions, check whether Opera’s built-in ad blocker or VPN is interfering (both can be switched off per-site from the badge in the address bar), or contact support with a description of what you’re seeing.
