If you want to play in a different coin, it helps to know what the currency setting on Flush.io does, and does not, do.
The display setting is not a swap
Changing your display currency on Flush.io only changes which coin your balance is shown in; it does not convert or swap your actual funds. Your crypto stays exactly as it is.
To change coins, use an exchange
To genuinely convert one coin into another, use a crypto exchange, which is built for swapping, then deposit the coin you want to Flush.io. Alternatively, simply deposit the coin you would like to play with in the first place.
Good to know
Stablecoins keep a steady value. If you want a balance that holds its value, depositing a stablecoin like USDC or USDT avoids price movement, without needing to swap.
Deposit what you want to play with. The simplest approach is to deposit the coin you intend to use, so there is nothing to convert.
